Dr. Lo-An Lin, born in Taipei, Taiwan, emerged as the First Prize and Baroque Prize winner at the 2012 San Antonio International Piano Competition, captivating audiences with her remarkable talent. Described by the San Antonio Express as a pianist with "brilliance" and "thoughtfulness," Dr. Lin has graced stages across the United States and around the world. Memorable solo performances include prestigious venues such as Carnegie's Weill Recital Hall, the Seoul National Arts Center in Korea, and the iconic Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.

In addition to her solo endeavors, Dr. Lin has collaborated with several orchestras, showcasing her artistry with the San Antonio Symphony, Eastman School Symphony Orchestra, Queensland Orchestra in Australia, Glenn Gould School Orchestra in Canada, San Francisco Conservatory Orchestra, Interlochen Arts Academy Orchestra, Eastern Music Festival Orchestra, Suzhou National Symphony Orchestra in China, Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra in China, and the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra in Taipei.

Having earned graduate degrees from both Yale University School of Music and the Eastman School of Music, Dr. Lin has shared her passion for music education at esteemed institutions like the Eastman Community Music School, Nazareth College, Eastman School of Music, and Yale School of Music. Currently, she holds the position of Assistant Professor in Piano at the Soochow University School of Music in China.
